By the way, the US came back and tied 2-2 but are in big trouble in their group play. They have to beat Algeria and hope Englnad loses or they are going home early again. It's just kills me how well they played against England and how bad they looked in the first half against Slovenia.

I know who cares about soccer. This is America, to me it is now football season.

To clarify statements above...

ALL we have to do is beat Algeria. England's result means nothing if we win.

If we TIE and England LOSES, we automatically advance.

OR

If we TIE and England draws to Slovenia, we cannot let them score 2 or more goals than we do. Example: If we draw 1-1, we have to hope they do not draw 3-3. If they draw 2-2 and us 1-1, we still advance.

If they score exactly two more goals than us and we BOTH tie, then it goes to a coinflip. If they score more three or more goals than us and we BOTH tie, they advance. If they do not do either, we advance.

We control our own destiny and can get through with a win or a tie.

The penalty that took away a goal without an explanation of what the penalty was. That is much like watching the Olympics in gymnastics. Where those in charge can do whatever they want when they want.
It is easy to see that many people think this sport blows. Just try watching the World Cup with all the blowing horns going on.
