WWE NXT: Kaval wins show's 2nd season, gets beat down
Tonight on WWE NXT: It's the finale of NXT Season 2. The moment everyone has been waiting for. Who will be the WWE's next breakout star? Will it be Michael McGuillicutty, Kaval or Alex Riley? Should be a good one!
And we are LIVE! from Albany, NY. Michael Cole and Josh Mathews are our commentators and Matt Striker and Ashley Valance are our hosts. This show is presented in WWEHD (TV-PG,V).
Valance welcomes out the pros and remaining rookies. Striker welcomes the eliminated rookies in the front row then announces the remaining rookies will compete against each other in a triple threat match tonight.
Cole and Mathews inform us that the next season will be all Divas. That is not a typo. It's time to start naming them.
First up is pro Kelly Kelly with rookie Naomi.

Match #1 - Michael McGuillicutty (Champlin, Minn.) vs. Kaval (Brooklyn, NY) vs. Alex Riley (Georgetown, Va.)
Very high-pace set to the match in the early-going. All three men get their stuff in but it's Riley who takes control of the match when he dispatches both Kaval and McGuillicutty to the outside at the same time.

Riley has McGuillicutty in a headlock and Kaval comes up and kicks Riley hard. Somewhere in here, The Miz gives Riley a good tip, Cole goes crazy and The Miz comes over and gives Cole a high-five. McGuillicutty with a belly-to-belly throw on Riley. Kaval's now getting going. Springboard kick to McGuillicutty. Then he hits a cartwheel kick on Riley, who was on the top rope (which gets a "that was awesome" chant from a couple people in the front row). McGuillicutty gets reversed and Kaval locks in a Dragon Sleeper but McGuillicutty falls into the ropes. Kaval misses McGuillicutty in the corner and McGuillicutty hits the Perfect Plex but Riley grabs McGuillicutty's leg from the outside (he was out there after being kicked into the announce table.)
Kaval ducks the McGuillicutter and hits a rolling Liger kick. He goes to the top for the Warrior's Way but Riley knocks him to the outside and pins McGuillicutty.
Winner via pinfall: Michael McGuillicutty
A very good match.
Your next Season 3 Pro will be Alicia Fox and her rookie will be Maxine.

Your third Season 3 Pro is, I kid you not, GOLDUST. Should be great. His rookie is Aksana.
It is now time for the the night's first elimination. But first, Striker asks the eliminated rookies who they think should win. Titus O'Neil says Alex Riley should be eliminated. Eli Cottonwood says Riley. Lucky Cannon says it doesn't matter. Percy Watson says McGuillicutty. Husky Harris agrees.
It's time to see the elimination. It's Alex Riley.
In his closing remarks, Riley says you have not heard the last of him.
Your next NXT pros are the Bella Twins and their rookie is former NXT ring announcer Jamie.

Your next Pro is Primo. He will mentor A.J.
Back to Striker in the ring. It's time for the rookies to cut promos on each other.
McGuillicutty is ultra-bad. He pretty much bombs, prompting Cole to ask, "and Alex Riley got eliminated?" I mean, he stinks the joint up bad.
Kaval says McGuillicutty was born to be here, but he's just a middle class kid from New York with a high school diploma and a deep voice. But at every stage of the game, he's earned his respect around the world. Cole event admits Kaval's promo was very good.

Your next Pro is Vickie Guerrero and her rookie is the 6-foot-9 Aloisia. Will be great.
It's time to find out who your winner of WWE NXT Season 3 is …
Kaval
McGuillicutty is up first and he turns heel on everybody. He says Kaval's pay-per-view title shot will suck and tells him he's nowhere near the level he is. He says being eliminated won't stop him from becoming a future world champion and he is the next generation. From this moment on, this will be the genesis of McGuillicutty.
It's time for Kaval. He barely gets a few words out when the eliminated rookies from Season 2 attack him. Then all heel breaks loose. The pros try to make the save but they don't really. In the ring, it's Lucky Cannon, Husky Harris, Alex Riley and McGuillicutty attacking Kaval as everybody else just watches. At one point, Riley took out Watson, but now Watson's just standing in there with the other eliminated rookies. What? Everyone is cleared out of the ring except for the rookies. The pros don't attempt to make another save as each eliminated rookie hits Kaval with their finish. An extremely chaotic and confusing ending to the show.
