I think its happening a little faster than most thought it would, but were moving in the right direction for sure.

I am bit with the optimism bug and believe the Browns are on the right track. But I'm tired of good efforts and moral victories. This past game was a lost opportunity, IMO. The Jets game should've been a win, too. Right now we could be realisitically talking about a possible wild card instead of celebrating being close. I can't wait for next year for the Browns to take the next step. Even if Colt is out this week, we should destroy a hapless Carolina squad. Beyond that, I'd say we should win one or both games at home against the Steelers and Ravens. Anything now less than 7-9 is a disappointment. This team needs to get over feeling good about being competitive and start winning week-to-week.

They still stink that is the bottom line in all of this.

I'd like to see the great effort continue but now too many parts are missing. Half the offense that beat up New Orleans and New England are on the injury list right now. If we go into the tank, it enhances our draft position but history proves you don't want to be in the top five every year because the high price tags are hard to get to pay off. I'd like to see the Browns in the sweet spot; about twelfth which still gets you a good pick but allows you to trade.

Week 13 Sun. 12/5/2010 @ Miami Dolphins
Week 14 Sun. 12/12/2010 @ Buffalo Bills
Week 15 Sun. 12/19/2010 @ Cincinnati Bengals
Week 16 Sun. 12/26/2010 vs. Baltimore Ravens
Week 17 Sun. 1/2/2011 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

I say Browns go 2-3. Final record is 6-10. Good enough for you? Does Mangini survive?

Just a thought but Fitzgerald wants out of Arizona....would you give a one and a three for him? He would definitely stretch the field and allow even bigger holes for Hillis.

I'd go for that if Mangini was making the calls. But the Walrus is pulling all the draft strings in Cleveland now.
