Predictions:
Brenneman decision
Freire 1st rnd sub. Freire trains with some of the best BJJ practitioners in the world
Korean Zombie Decision. Though I've never seen it, his camp raves about his ground game
Johnson 3rd rnd sub
Edwards 2nd Rnd TKO. I think Yves is too experienced to get caught in Cody's guillotine and his stand up is far superior
Main
Miller 2nd Rnd Sub. Cole is more well rounded IMO
Barry 1st Rnd KO. Seems to an extremely easy matchup as Beltran is a charge forward brawler w/o a lotta technique and Pat is a K1 level Kickboxer
Roop decision. I think Roop has figured out how to use his height (6'1") as an advantage especially at 145.
Mitrione 2nd Rnd TKO.
Dunham 1st Rnd Sub. IMO Evan Dunham is the best at 155.
KO of the Night: Barry
Sub of the Night: Dunham
Fight of the Night: Miller/Wiman

Bump
Korean Zombie injured, Mike Brown will take his place, I'll take Brown over Yahya by decision.

Some pretty good fights tonite. Guillard just crushed Dunham, I thought it would be a much better fight

I picked Dunham, but not surprised in the least. I expected a late submission from Dunham - Melvin gassing, but since Melvin has started working with Greg Jackson's camp a lot he is FINALLY starting to reach the plateau that everyone saw. Speed, speed, speed. Way too much for Dunham, and Melvin is a solid wrestler with great balance to boot which makes his takedown defense quite good. He's a dynamic fighter that's finally got his head on straight and training with a fantastic camp.
After Edgar/Maynard II I figured the winner of this fight would be pitted against Anthony Pettis for the next title shot and that's what I expect to happen, but wouldn't be surprised for Sotiropoulos vs. Pettis once George wins in Australia either.

Pettis already has a fight lined up against Clay Guida. I think Guillard and George Sot might come up against each other later this year to determine #1 contender

Crap, I knew that. *shake my head*
If Pettis wins he'll keep his title shot, but yes Guillard/Soritiropolous could happen for next in line. And a good fight as well. Depending on timing & injuries it's possible that Kenny Florian could get Guillard as well since he was slated for Dunham originally.

Matt Mitrione looked awesome last night. I think of Cody McKenzie gets some stand up ability and builds a tad more muscle he will be a force.
