Michael Bennett

Bennett accuses the Las Vegas PD of racial profiling and roughing him up some. After a call came in about a possible shooting. Where he was seen hiding then taking off running.
Some of what he says happened the PD denies it. As it was 2 Hispanic Police Officers. 1 had his body cam on and the other didn't. The NFL made a statement in support of Bennett then denied a request by the PD to investigate the incident. Now the PD is investigating if Bennett was involved in an altercation in the Casino prior to being detained.

Looks like his own attorney thinks he lying. Wasn't there a Michael Bennett that played for Ohio State years ago ? Don't know if this is him or not Can't believe the NFL is sloughing it off after the way they pitbulled Brady and Elliot

The question I have, why would any gifted athlete, college or pro, ever put themselves in a position to be compromised? Then again I never have been blessed with high test testosterone fueled ego.

Unsure why he would attempt to flee the situation once the police arrived when he clearly wasn't the shooter, but I understand being scared when there was an active shooter in the casino.

I don't think he was making anything up, but it does appear that the only reason he was "profiled" was because he ran from the situation, not because of his skin tone.

Bennett jumps offsides multiple times today. Easy for him to make a mistake but when Police do not see what happens and it is not a game for them. They can make a mistake. At least in both cases no one can hurt or killed.

At the end of the game with Jacksonville taking a knee to end the game. Bennett dives at the centers knees. A fight breaks out. Bennett was not thrown out but some others were. After the game Bennett tells reporters when asked about it that he doesn't need to explain himself. Not quite the great upstanding guy he wants others to believe he is. Wants to complain about everything he thinks he has been done wrong. But sees nothing wrong when he makes a mistake. Not the first cheap shot or fight he has started either.

Then on the next snap the Seahawks start another fight. Had a player thrown out and as he walked off the field he tried to go into the stands after fans started throwing things at them. Strange to act up but be upset that the fans act up also.

That fan nailed him good with whatever that was he threw at him
