The Stallions (2-4) used six sacks to post this win. Getting two sacks each were Karter Schult (Northern Iowa), Tenny Palepoi (Utah) and Chris Odom (Arkansas State). Josh Woodrum (Liberty) went (24-37 243 Yards 2 TD 1 INT). His top target was, Nick Truesdell (Grand Rapids C.C.) 5 catches 67 yards 1 TD. Anthony Denham (Utah) had 4 catches 42 yards 1 TD.
For The Express (1-5) Brandon Silvers (Troy) came off of the bench, when starter Zach Mettenberger (LSU) was hurt and he had a fine game. (23-37 242 Yards 1TD) Reece Horn (Indianapolis) was the go to guy, as he caught 8 balls for 129 yards. Zac Stacy (Vanderbilt) rushed 11 times for 31 yards. He grabbed 4 balls good for 27 yards and a touchdown. DeMarquis Gates (Mississippi State) had eleven tackles to lead the defense. Arnold Tarpley, III (Vanderbilt) had a pick to go along with seven tackles.
