Good defense or horrible offense? Either way it was another win for the Commanders (5-2), who now has a four game win streak. Before getting injured Logan Woodside (Toledo) was 13-19 1 TD 1 INT. From there, the speedy runner broke free up field and found a hole through traffic for a 36-yard touchdown. Woodside had a touchdown throw to Mekale McKay (Cincinnati).
Evan Rodriguez (Temple) led the team in receptions, with three good for 71 yards. Duke Thomas (Texas) had a pick, while Jayrone Elliott (Toledo) and Austin Larkin (Purdue) each had a sack.
