What a game! The Hillcats (5-5) (Cleveland) had to come from behind twice to win. A five-run seventh inning was the difference in this one. Salem (4-6) (Boston) had the lead for the second time in this one with a 5-3 lead thanks to a four-run fourth inning. Then they led 8-5 after a three-run sixth inning. Luis Merejo led the winners, going 2-3 with 3 RBI, including his 2nd homer of the young season. Jose Pirela went 2-4 with 3 RBI. Tommy Hawke (Wake Forest) 2-4 1 RBI, Bennett Thompson (Oregon) 1-3 1 RBI, Ryan Cesarini (St. Joseph)1-3 1 RBI, and Carlos Gutierrez 1-5 1 RBI. For Salem, Yoeilin Cespedes went 2-4 with 2 RBI, and Antonio Anderson 2-4, 2 RBI, led the offense.
