The Twins farm club improved to 8-7 with their third shutout this week against the Pirates Sing A farm club, who fell to 5-10. Devin Kirby (U. Conn) picks up the win in relief; he is 1-0 on the season and the first knuckleball throwing pitcher that I have watched this season. Jose Garces 1-1 took the loss. Yohander Martinez went hitless but did record the only RBI in the game.
