7 of the top 25 are from the Big 10.

This is why the Big 10 can be selective and wait to pick their expansion teams. And it's why the BTN prints money for it's member schools!!!

I'd absolutely put UCF over ECU!
UCF has a massive enrollment and student/alumni base.

Many people live in other areas of the country have roots in Ohio,Pa and Mich. As the state university also is a way to associate itself with people from that state. In these states these universities do not have much competition from others. Unlike in Florida where you have Miami,Fl St and Florida. With many in the state of Florida use to live in the other states. The top 3 schools also travel well to any bowl game where ever that maybe. Just a different way of looking at this.

farmer...I do not disagree with you wholeheartedly, but if we look at your way Ohio State looks even better. Considering, if you add up the 3 Florida schools....you get 3,947,379. That is only 780,116 more than Ohio State's 3,167,263. Pretty darn good for one school vs three.

That's a rather faulty way to argue your point. OSU dominated Ohio. There is absolutely no other school competing in this state against them in any manner. Whereas the big three in Florida draw away from each other. And just to let it be known, I'm not arguing anything other than the quoted portion. Just a bad way to argue that point.
