A rare ACC game for me and after all was said and done the game was not all that bad. Georgia Tech (1-14, 3-10 Conf) looked like garbage in the opening half only scoring 19 points and trailed by 13. In the 2nd half, they were able to cut the lead to five or less a few times before finally falling to Virginia (16-9,10-5 Conf). The Yellow Jackets outshot the Cavs 45.7% to 38.8% but it was not enough to pull off the upset. Jayden Gardner (Wake Forest, NC) led the Cavs with 26 points, 7 boards, and 3 blocks. Kihei Clark (Woodland Hills, CA) chipped in with 15 points and 2 steals. For Georgia Tech Michael Devoe (Orlando, FL) had 17 points and 4 assists.
