But what about the author of The Winners Manuel?....That guy led a program going amok for years. Lack of Institutional Control would sugarcoat his time there. Plus he coached by perception. He couldnt draw their O or D on a whiteboard. He wore a vest,talked about religion,and chewed gum. HOMERS loved it. Jim Delaney,whom by the way has ran the NCAA for years and is a brilliant financial deal maker, protected him and the Cash Cow for years. UNTIL....The Vest lied to some of Delaneys boys over something that was very trivial in nature. The Senator was wanting to win another National Title and wanted to be considered one of the greats.
