First off congrats to both teams on a great game I was there last night the stadium was electric pure pandemonium I couldn't be happier for Penn St. Hopefully they have turned the corner cause not only would I like to see it but it would be great for college football and just make the Big 10 that much bettet

Now yes the referee missed the call but in all honesty the OSU passing is not overly impressive I would say 80% of the passes were to Samuel not like anyone else was doing much to help out I thought they should have started giving the ball to Samuel sooner

If you want to talk about about refs we could rewind the clock to the 2014 game were Ohio state was going for a field goal and 25second clock expired and when Hackenberg threw the INT but the ball clearly hit the ground but still ruled interception all those missed by the refs

All in all it happens everywhere no officiating crew is perfect but if Ohio state played up their potential this game would have been over at halftime but they did not not to mention it was sprinkling and wind blowing 20mph it was nasty I'm still thawing out but hopefully this will make them hungry and finish the year out strong and beat that team from up north and get in the playoff which I truly think is possible hopefully Ohio State can get their passing game on track if so watch out

Good luck to the Bucks rest of the year and Go Penn State!!!!

URBAN NEEDS TO CALL OUR OFFENSE. OUR O-LINE WAS AWFUL. AND I WILL GO ON RECORD AS SAYING I ALWAYS CRINGE WHEN I SEE OUR PUNTER PUNT RUGBY STYLE. ALL I CAN SAY IS WE LOOKED AWFUL AND WE BEEN FLIRTING WITH SLOW STARTS FOR TOO LONG. WAS JUST PHYSICALLY ILL LAST NIGHT WHEN MY HEAD HIT THE PILLOW, BUT HEY THAT'S FOOTBALL. GOTTA GIVE IT TO PENN STATE THEY OVERWHELMED OUR O-LINE, HAD A GAME PLAN, AND EXECUTED IT.

baseball16 wrote:Pathetic!! Very Stagnant Offense. Terrible Special Teams play. Just went through the motions. Again, offense taking too long to get into plays allows for predictability. Samuel completely disappeared after the TD run. Once again, play calling got them again. Happens at least 1 or 2 a year. Pathetic!

I think your post is right on as well. we should have never have kept it that close. frankly we just have way too much talent to play that close to the vest. I could not agree any more with yer statement they did look pathetic. but I take absolutely nothing away from penn states wonderful effort.osu must know they are going to get herculean efforts out of every team they play. and be prepared for it.

The two blocked kicks and forcing Barrett to run for his life in the fourth quarter was the difference. PSU dared the Buck's to beat them by throwing and they could not. Simply put OSU's offensive line became the Lion's play toy.

The loss obviously knocks out OSU's chances for a playoff spot and puts a chance for a Big Ten championship in doubt. Still the loss may serve as a wake up call but they will have to turn it around fast, because the Bucks could easily have two to three more losses before seasons end. Karma is always interesting when a team of 4-5 star talents with an elite coach blows a game to a team with three star kids and a supposedly mediocre coach. Still Meyer is 55-5 at OSU but ironically it looks like he will have only one BIG championship to show for his 5 years as head coach.

Go Bucks the rest of the way!
wow, very true omega----------------I truly did feel like I was watching osu/msu again.they must win out to get to the conf. championship game. and right now I think Michigan would torque us. we need to get some things corrected this week. we still have northwestern, Nebraska, maryland, michigan state and Michigan left.it hain't gonna get any easier.
