Re: Former longtime PSU assistant in deep trouble!
Sandusky was confronted by the mother of a victim in 98, he unexpectedly retired in 99!
Mike McQweary was a GA in 02 when he witnessed a sex crime and failed to go any higher than JoePa.
In 03 he was named WR coach, and east coast recruiting coordinator!
That's a nice promotion for someone with no experience above GA level!

Good to see that you have that conspiracy theorist vein in you like most of us grizzled old folks. Impressive for a youngster such as you Dubs. That is about the highest compliment I've ever paid anyone on this website, so, frame it! :122245seofan_via_dublin wrote:Sandusky was confronted by the mother of a victim in 98, he unexpectedly retired in 99!

dubs, what do you think the NCAA will do. He was a coach, and the University clearly didn't report any sexual crime to the federal govnerment as required by law.

I think the NCAA will throw at least a large section of "the book" at Penn State, if not the whole book.

There is nothing the NCAA can do, their violations have nothing to do with football. If the NCAA tries to punish Penn State, then PSU will sue and would easily win

I have no idea how McQueary is still on the staff, he actually SAW what was happening and didn't report it to the police. Yet Joe Pa is out and McQueary has a job. If he had any decency he would resign immediately. I really doubt that though

I would not be surprised to see McQueary gone by tomorrow. If he is on the sidelines this Saturday, that just opens up the Board of Trustees and the interim administration to a ton of criticism. I just read the grand jury report and feel like getting sick.

Yeah, I agree about McQueary, he should be gone. I think he'll be let go soon also

OK, the DA from the 98 case with Sandusky disappeared in 2005 and was declared dead in 2011. So, probably not going to get much more out of that mess.
Now, this hit today. Turn on your sound and listen to the entire 16 minute interview. This has the potential to get super FUGLY.

I personally feel he should be in jail too. For Christ sakes, he didn't even bother to stop the act. He left, told his pop's and then decided to report to Paterno the next day. My goodness, how could anyone walk away from seeing this and not stop it, then and there? This guy doesn't look like a weakling either, at least physically. He's a coward at best but I believe he was worried about his job/career vs a 10 year old who will be devastated for life.The_Legend_of_Northwest wrote:I have no idea how McQueary is still on the staff, he actually SAW what was happening and didn't report it to the police.
