I hoped this would happen quite honestly. I have no respect for anything Rodriguez has done at UM. I'd rather see OSU with an at-large bid than playing in the Rose Bowl, anyway. Hopefully OSU beats UM just as badly as Wisky appears they will and Rich loses his job and takes his cute little offense with him.

The Buckeyes face their last Varsity level opponent today at 3:30.

Yippsilanti is right beside AA, maybe Eastern Michigan can come down and play again instead of
RR and his merry band of inbred idiots.

Yep, it's getting closer to The Game week.

As a Buckeye fan, I love RR and his top notch defense.

Bleeding Red,,you really dont mean that. If this continues in Michigan .a couple of years this game (OSU - Michigan) wont mean anything.

Dubs, nope, wish I could, but the wife says we have to stay in NC. After this year I will not miss another game in A2 or CBus.

Sorry my team sucks so bad.

True. I wish Michigan was playing a little better. THE GAME in 06 was unbelievable. Best atmosphere I have been in. Everything was on the line by both teams.

Unfortunately, it will be some time before they can match up and play for all the marbles again.

You might want to tell ABC/ESPN about this information. They have been mistakenly giving it national coverage for years, and also, HBO wasted good production money on a full-length documentary about the game. These companies survive on ratings and thus advertising dollars, so they need to know that it is a mistake to show the game simply out of reverence and charity.

I will also have to let my future in-laws from NYC (still in the suburbs) know that they should stop watching an irrelevant game every single year, as a family, despite zero ties to the Big Ten or the Midwest outside of the recent addition (me).

Bama/Auburn is a nice little, in state rivalry that gets the citizens of that state up in arms and carries it throughout the year.
Michigan/Michigan State does the same thing.

OSU/Michigan is on a national level.
The games during the RR era have suffered,
But the rivalry hasn't.
When UM gets back on track, the perceptions will be back to reality.
