again, bringing up your only win isnt necessary. You dont have to keep putting yourself down. I see Cali got a big recruit coming. Hope he doesnt need apologists 10 years from now, like Pitino has. Its obvious that UK will be loaded next year. Preseason Top 5 for sure. Pressure's on Cali.

according to scout.com uk now has the number 1 recruiting class for next year after calipari has arrived and we just got a commit from john wall yesterday so the future looks very bright if these recruits arent flubs.

So the excuses stop now.....For the love of Joe B Hall, would UK please live up to their hype?

been about 3 decades since anything came easy for Russell vs. Ironton.

I see where Memphis is going to go on probation, with many violations. Coming to a UK press conference soon? Only a matter of time, until the violations come following Callipari. With UK's history of cheating, the NCAA will be watching closely.

Might want to look at this article from a SEC blog.

http://blog.al.com/chatter/2009/03/so_i ... ari_a.html

Big story on MSN this morning about Memphis.

http://msn.foxsports.com/cbk/story/9620 ... roke-rules

In none of these instances are Calipari accused of any wrong doing but it seems mighty funny this stuff is following him around. I hope for Kentucky's sake it doesn't land in Lexington.

show some documentation that memphis is going on probation. there is none so good luck with that.

uk's infraction was over 20yrs ago only the jealous haters keep bringing it up, sounds like WILDCAT ENVY to me.it may take cheating to overcome what the last 2 coaches did to the program. ;-)

the reason they were clean for so long is because they had a tremendous clssy coach in Tubby Smith. Pitino, Callipari are cut from the same cloth, they are cheaters. When your ego is so tremendous, you have to cheat.

As far as wildcat envy? i guess I must really worship VMI and Gardner Webb as well!

The NCAA will clear Calipari. They need UK to compete.

again please show some creditable documentation(not WIKI like the last time  ) that proves Cal or pitino are cheaters.it may be hard to find since none exist.

i can't argue that tubby wasn't a classy guy and if pitino and Cal are cheaters it was to overcome the hole tubby, eddie and billy dug for the program.
you seem like a smart dude, envy is not the same thing as worship. don't be ashamed of your wildcat envy admittance is the first step of recovery you may need to admitt it twice though. jk

Talk about worship?

Without a question preseason #1. If this team doesnt win a title, UK never will. This team is almost as loaded as the team Pitino couldnt close the deal on back in the 90's.

UK may have to give up a couple of bucks to this former coach.

Any Kentucky fan tell me anything of importance about this game? I just so happened to be in attendance for this one.

3/18/1972 (#18) Kentucky vs. (#10) Florida State L 54 - 73 NCAA Mideast Regional Finals (at Dayton, OH)

You hit it right on the button 85inside. Although I'm not a big Kentucky fan either, I did respect this coach. It was a real thrill to sit about 15 rows right behind him. Adolph Rupp was one of the greatest coaches of all time.

I also got to meet Coach Tubby Smith. I really didn't like him until I met the man. He was a real class act.
