I don't see or hear anyone questioning who has the best Defense in the conference now!

That horrible, inconsistent, poorly coached Buckeyes offense put over 220 rushing yards
on that vaunted, powerful, magnificent, well led, PSU Defense.

Nice seeing you were still alive PSUfan, see ya next year!

It was reported on the OSU vs. Penn State game that Stanzi had a MRI on his ankle an the results came back negative but the Iowa coach said it was a serious ankle injury, I would not count him out of the game I say he will be a gametime decision either way I think we beat Iowa by 13pts. with Stanzi an without Stanzi 20pts. The way things are looking right now we may jump up alot of spots in the poll but the real question is will they put us ahead of USC?

Buckeyes control the Rose Bowl now. Win out and they're in. I've always wanted to see Southern Calif. This might be the year.

Don't even have to win out, just beat Iowa, which is the goal for this week!

Once again, the naysayers disappear and all we hear is what Simon and Garfunkel beautifully expressed in the song "Sounds of Silence".

Them crickets are still pretty loud, even after the hard freeze......

dublin I like the location you have now, where's psufan? 24-7 is a much better score than 17-10, an as I stated it should've been 24-0. Thanks Penn State for help in the rankings.

PSU joined the Big Ten in 1993:

93: OSU
94: PSU
95: OSU
96: OSU
97: PSU
98: OSU
99: PSU
00: OSU
01: PSU
02: OSU
03: OSU
04: OSU
05: PSU
06: OSU
07: OSU
08: PSU
09: OSU

OSU is 11-6. Remember when PSU was going to dominate the Big Ten? Isn't UM's record against PSU even better?

But anyway, this Saturday, 3:30PM, ABC, for the Rose Bowl.

It would also clinch OSU's 5th straight Big Ten title, and "little game's" 6th Big Ten title in 9 years at OSU. In 2001 and 2003, OSU controlled their own destiny for the Big Ten title during the last two weeks, but didn't get it. That means that 2004 was the only year under JT where OSU didn't have the title within their grasp during the final two weeks of the season.

Glad people aren't on here giving JT all kinds of crap. I've always stuck by him yeah I hate how he's to conservative sometimes an trys to run the clock out way to early but who else would we get that has a better resume? I like how he made some agressive calls though were we came out an I think it was first down an through a deep pass for a TD that was good to see.

Real good question is this the week we finally have a better ranking in the bcs than USC? USC won 14-9 over a 4-5 arizona state team.

Whos laughing now? not all you JT and TP haters. It was a break out game for TP. I underestimated our D by 10 points and O by three which is a good thing. Penn St didn't score that TD. Also, they are NOT #1 in the conference rushing D and scoring D anymore.

Good win, but Tressel and his boys will have to win a BCS bowl game to get back in my good graces.

Besides the three Fiesta Bowls they won this decade?

OSU's last three Bowl losses were to the national champs (Florida then LSU) and a pretty darn good Texas team, which OSU had on the ropes until a DB gambled late. When two good teams play, one must lose, and unfortunately the Buckeyes have lost three straight BCS games.

If you want to complain about a team losing big games, talk about Oklahoma. They've lost three straight BCS games, but two of their losses were Boise State and WVU (the third was Florida in the NC game this year). Boise MAY have been elite in '07, but WVU's thrashing of the Sooners was rediculous.

Ohio State's losses to Florida and LSU were national humiliations to anyone who calls themselves an Ohio State fan. They showed in those two games that their program wasn't all it was cracked up to be. You have a choice here; you can either blame it on poor coaching or you must admit that the recruits OSU has been getting aren't all they're cracked up to be. Personally, I think it's a little bit of both.
Texas couldn't have carried Florida's jockstrap last year. They had no defense to speak of and OSU should have beat them, but this time Tressel and his gang rip the hearts out of thousands upon thousands of OSU fans all over the world in the final minute of play.
Sorry, but the last three losses haven't been merely tough losses, but public embarrasments to all who wear scarlet and gray. They've taken OSU from serious contender status to the laughing-stock of big-time college football. The pollsters now avoid ranking OSU too high and it's obvious they are on a mission to keep them out of the top 10. So instead of being taken seriously by folks, the Buckeyes are now avoided like a plague. They're being treated like the Boisie States and Utahs of college football get treated - they move up very slowly, but fall very rapidly after a single loss.

I just hope we pass on 1st down twice this week, not once. And let Pryor run because his throwing is getting worse, imo.
