Well said pbuck.

1. OL dominated. We basically ran at will against them. Denard was never touched nor in danger of being touched.
2. Defense is still suspect, but the pressure UM brought was outstanding. The d was awful last season and the d outscored wmu 14-10.
3. Woolfolk is fine, hoke said he was ready to go back in. Bad news cam gordon could be dome for 6 weeks. Hurt his back 2 days before game. Barnum will also be back next week. Contrary to belief barnum was not suspended but injured.
4. Denard looked very comfy in this offense and did anyone else see how involved koger is? Good sign.
5. Agree on ko coverage.
6. Front 4 have to get more pressure.
7. Really wished we would have gotten to see younger guys, darn rain.

Opening line has Michigan as a home Dog in their first night game.
Vegas watched the debacle in South Bend, and still says ND is 4 points better than UM in AA!

If I'm betting this one, I dive all over UM early, before they change it!

I saw three things that UM defense must improve on before B1G play.
1. Have to be able to generate a pass rush occasionally with the front four. Roh disappointed me, Black was better.
2. Outside run force needs to be more consistent, WMU popped several big ones outside, and they aren't a running team.
3. Safeties have to do a better job in coverage, corners looked solid in man, safeties didn't. And from our lack of a pass rush we will be playing a lot of man.

Like peake said earlier the offense looked pretty good. Didn't get to possess the ball much in the first half but scored when they got it and was really starting to take control of the game when the storms hit. Denard looked like he was getting more comfortable in the pocket.

Overall I was encouraged but still need to improve if we want better than 4-4 in the conference.

Roh has been very disappointing in camp the two times I saw him. Kid is too nice. Needs to have a mean streak and just doesn't.

I agree with what you have said and lets be honest no one is kidding themselves thinking this is a great Michigan team. The offense is pretty good and can be really good, but the defense is never going to be much better then a top say 50ish defense (which I will take over last year). We are till another 2 years away imo from seeing a Michigan that Hoke wants us to be.
