Get them ready ohio HOMERS.....The top daytime drama Soap Opera takes center stage. But at least ohio's Pinnochio didnt schedule it for tomorrow....

Be interesting to see how this place is going to attempt to spin this today and going forward
....
They have tried to put the positive spin on it Alumni wise, HOMER wise,perception wise,Nationally,media-wise,and recruiting wise...AND..A lot of other ways....Have been somewhat successful in the 1st 2...But that is about it....There are several reasons why he WASNT fired and they were well thought out...All about the cash. All about the National Perception(Which backfired). All about the politics. And all about recruiting...They will always be fine recruiting.The brand recruits...Although they are going to get poached big time right now,and done to them what Pinnochio has always did to others....But ohio will ALWAYS have The MOST talent relative to their schedule and conference in America than anyone else. And it is not even close.They will always have the easiest path to the Playoffs. ALWAYS...
This is going to be sickening. Gentle...Heartwarming to HOMERS.... but sickening....When he told his 1st lie about this situation(Not all the other situations)..Just this one at big 14 Media days?....That was it..Everything since then has been about ohio image,perception,and the bux brand....But when pontiff continued to lie and got lawyered up with talking points,and went on that Clarifying the Clarification tour?...That pissed a LOT of people off.....The Rinaldi interview was the last straw.
This place has spent this entire season working on a way to end this the best way for everyone,as far as their image goes.....this place is a cash cow....All the Black eyes,as far as Coaches,programs,teams.....From Hayes...To unceremoniously letting Bruce go.....To this stupid Michigan thing they play in getting rid of Cooper....The Rev.Senator Vest fiasco.....The Matta fiasco.....Wrestling..Kids playing football with a 0.00 GPA...Could go on and on...Watch them decorate the cake today.......and meyer

When SEC plays true cross over games, their best teams drop the FCS schools and play power 5 non conference teams and they add another conference game to even things out, get back to me.
Until then we will all continue to mock you and laugh at you both on this board and through PMs.

We will never know the complete truth surrounding Urban Meyer's tenure and departure at both Florida and 0hio State. We can gloat over his failings and trivialize his successes, but at least his retirement announcement was handled with dignity. The important thing now for the program is to go forward with Coach Day, capitalizing on Meyer's positives and correcting any weaknesses, real or perceived, that plagued UFM. No use beating a dead horse.
