And here is the Official Rankings..
1. LSU
2. Ohio State
3. Clemson
4. Oklahoma
As originally thought.. The "Eye Test" was the Factor of these Rankings.. Especially the top 2.

Eh. Not sure any team is capable of beating Clemson and LSU back to back.
Every respected analytic poll had OSU number 1 and no team in playoff contention had to win three straight weeks against a mix of top 10/15 teams or won every single game by double digits. Yet, ESPN had a narrative, owns the playoff and SEC, and here we are.
It's an SEC protection racket, it always has been and always will be until Fox breaks up this ESPN/CFP cabal.

The most DISTURBING Statement I just heard on the College Football Playoff Show was... After all the College Football Playoff Games were played they were still discussing whether Oklahoma or Georgia deserved the 4 Spot... EXCUSE ME?! How could you give the glancing thought of putting a 2 Loss SEC team over a 1 Loss BIG XII Champion... Or heck.. EVEN Oregon as a 2 loss PAC12 Champion?!
To me the idea that the committee has the smallest iota of having Georgia remain in the discussion of the playoff after being totally embarrassed by LSU shows that there truly is SEC Bias!

Look at the committee’s make up (lots of southern), look at the business relationship between the SEC and ESPN and remember that it’s the ESPN playoff.
I think OSU was only placed at No 1 previously to give the perception of actual debate. The whole process is to give the SEC’s best team the easiest path to the NC.

ESPN is the only ho in town in terms of college football. They use their platform to promote their product (sec).
This is why I said 2 yrs ago Fox Sports needed to make a push to take that from them.

I agree FOS. They have earned the respect on the field. Even some of the Fox guys were thinking LSU should be at 1. Leinart definitely did and Urbs was waffling on putting them there before caving in to the home boys. I think the committee got it right. I do agree it was ridiculous thinking of putting Georgia in over Oklahoma but at least they came to their senses.
