Duke (17-3, 7-2 ACC) led by 16 points at one time only to see Louisville (11-10, 5-6 Conf) tie things up twice but in the end, it was the better team who produced the road win. Duke hit just 6-20 three-pointers while the Cards hit 8-22. Freshman A.J. Griffin (White Plains, NY) led the winners with 22 points. Seven-foot Mark Williams (Virginia Beach, VA) chipped in with 14 points and 11 boards. El Ellis (Durham, NC) came off of the bench to lead the cards with 18 points.
