Big upset out of the MAC tonight with Ball State (11-11, 6-5 Conf) taking down first place Toledo (18-5, 10-2 Conf) by ten points. The Cardinals led by twenty only to see the Rockets tie things up late in the contest. From there the Cardinals flew away a little at a time to leave the home crowd very happy. Six of the eight Cardinals who scored total eleven points or more, with Payton Sparks (Winchester, IN) leading the way with 18. He also grabbed down a game-high 11 boards. Luke Bumbalough (New Castle, IN) added 11 points. For the Rockets, Ryan Rolins (Macomb, MI) led the way with 22 points and Setric Millner (Little Rock, AR) added 21.
