Purdue (19-3, 8-3 Big) led Michigan (11-8, 5-4 Conf) by six at the half and played evenly with then in half number two to walk away with the 82-76 win. Michigan outshot Purdue 55.8% to 51.7% but it was not enough to produce the win. Jaden Ivey (South Bend, IN) led Purdue with 23 points, 7 assists, and 6 boards. Trevion Williams (Chicago, IL) came off of the bench to score 19 points pull down 7 boards, to go along with 4 steals. For Michigan Hunter Dickinson had 28 points but also had 4 turnovers, with two being late in the game.
