The Big Red (3-0) let their bats do the speaking today against the Bulldogs (4-3). The Big Red had 16 hits while the Bulldogs had 14. Defense was a big key in this one also as the Bulldogs had 6 errors while the Big Red did not have any. Dylan Hunter (Bethesda, Md.) and Charlie Glennon (New Rochelle, N.Y.) each went yard for Denison. Hunter would total 4 hits and 5 RBI while Glennon has 2 hits and 4 RBI. Daniel Spencer (Northbrook, Ill.) had 2 hits and 3 RBI. Payton Burch (Wilmette, Ill.) drove in two with two hits. Ari Fierer (Denver, Colo.) and Danny Alvarez (Bronx, N.Y.) each drove in a run.
For the Bulldogs, they hit three homers Don Goodes (Wapakoneta, Ohio), AJ Miranda (Okemos, Mich.), and Andrew Atherton (Swartz Creek, Mich.)
Goodes had 4 RBI with 3 hits, Miranda had 2 hits and 2RBI, Atherton had a hit and 1 RBI. Also driving in runs for the Michigan team was Thomas Miller (Saline, Mich. ) and Nathan Mix (Columbus Ohio)
