I have some questions on OSU recruiting.

Why are they not going hard after some of the instate kids? Jibreel Black has no offer from them and just committed to Michigan. He seems to be a pretty good player (4-star and 15th ranked DT) worth a scholly.

Latwaan Anderson? Went to Glenville? Little OSU? Most consider him the best safety in this class and he goes to WVU??? What is the deal?

The Hicks kid out of the Cincinnati area. What is the latest on him?

Courtny Avery? He is a Michigan commit but Florida just offered him, no OSU heat coming down the stretch?

Just a little confused on OSU recruiting this year.

I can't wait til it's over because I am sick of hearing about these kids. The truth is 20 out of the top 100 will ever be heard from again!

A couple thoughts here.

The Hicks kid from cincy, commited to Texas today.
He never really was an Ohio guy. He moved here, and even though he has been here since 6th grade, he never had that Buckeye sentiment connection. The Buckeyes went after him, but he was already a fan of Texas, and was drawn there naturally.

OSU targets guys they want, and they normally get all the prospects that they seriously put heat on.

The O-lineman from Minnesota, #1 propect Henderson. He is down to USC, ND, and OSU (florida will claim strong consideration, but he's made it known that it's those three) as of today it looks like a 50/50 shot that he'll be a Buckeye.

I understand on Hicks. Dominque Easley was one of the better prospects in Michigan, but was from Alabama. He goes to PSU and most ask what happened, but he just never really wanted to go to UM.


From the updates today it looks more like it is USC 66% to OSU 33% and ND 1%. Problem is Henderson is going to USC this weekend and Kiffin has the last in home visit. He was a USC lean before Pete left, but his recruitment has been really strange. His Dad is a weird dude. His latest comment is Kiffin is the most honest coach he has ever talked to . Henderson has been to Michigan more then any other school, yet he never really liked them????? Just strange.

seofan, Florida knows they are not getting Henderson ; month old news. We wanted Hicks but knew mom would win her way.
