For WVU and Pitt fans this is it... the Backyard Brawl.
Being from Ohio, even though not an OSU fan the OSU/Michigan game was always a must see. Other rivalry games I have watched since growing up as a kid are Army/Navy and Alabama/Auburn. During the Switzer/Osborne years the Oklahoma/Nebraska Red River Rivalry Game was one I always liked to see also.

I normally watch the Texas/Texas A&M game.
Also like to check in on the FSU/Florida game, bur don't give a crap about watching it.
Auburn/Bama is a nice regional game and a HUGE game for the state,
I'll likely tune in this year.
Pitt/WVU, if it weren't for the interest garnered by this forum, I wouldn't care.
Oklahoma/OKLA ST, that one is so one sided the only reason it's a rivalry is location.
Oregon/Oregon St, I actually like to watch this one.
USC/ND, yawn!
Army/Navy: Go Navy!!!
Then there is the king!
OSU/Michigan

OSU Penn St is no where near deserving of that list.
Penn St would like it to be, but they haven't earned the right to be included in a list of great rivalries.

Over the last 10 years or so OSU/Wisky has been a pretty good one.

It'll be nice next year when Wisky is on the schedule every year, and the two have to get through each other to play in the conference title game.

Better hope Michigan fires Rich Rod or the OSU- UM rivalrie will die off.

The rivalry will never die off. It may lose it's luster a little bit, but the series is still in favor of tSun. I for one hope they keep Rich Rod and the yearly victories over Michigan becomes a permanent occurrence.

Yeah, hopefully we'll be able to knot the all-time series up or take the lead by the time UM finds a new coach! Lol

seems like people whose job it is to cover big ten sports disagree with you on that one, then again i don't expect everyone to be as knowledgeable as an ESPN college football blogger.

Like I said, PSU fans want it to be.
But it is not viewed that way over on the side of the winners.

that was an blog taken from adam rittenberg, an unbiased analyst, but i guess you could substitute your opinion as the majority opinion of an entire fan base.
But in my opinion psu osu games have been much more intense on the field then osu um games for the last decade.

They have been good games, but we're are talking legendary rivalries here, PSU is not on that list!
While we're on the topic though, MSU is your every year last game rival, yet when watching that game Saturday, there were a ton of empty seats!!!
Where were those loyal, crazy PSU fans?

having lived in both Ohio and Alabama there is no comparision to Alabama/Auburn and OSU/mich. The rivalary goes much deeper and much longer at Al/aub than the annual OSU beat down of Michican. By longer I don't mean how the series has been going on. I mean the calendar year. They actually talk about it year round. As I shared earlier , They asked my wife at more than one job interview " which one do you root for" . They post the score of the game year round to antagonize the loser. It's nuts. Osu/mich last for a week.

You're right when it was #1 OSU vs. #2 Michigan, that lasted only a week. What was I thinking. SEC fans don't realize they play football up north, it's all about the south. Bama vs. Auburn isn't even on my top 5, maybe top 10 of college rivalries, yet it is #1 on yours. Hell probably above Duke vs. UNC in basketball, right?
