the game is on ESPN Classic...

Didn't realize Woody lost 6 of his last 8 bowl games.

They can try and say him punching a player is the reason he was fired, but what it all comes down to was that he couldn't beat Bo. This was just the excuse.

The OSU board of directors had already decided and quietly informed Woody, that this would be his last game.

Had the Buckeyes won, and the punch never happened, Woody would have been given the chance to retire and go out with a bowl win.

Instead, they lost, and Woody snapped, and the board was able to fire him with no reason for the fan base to complain about the dismissal of a legend.

I watched some of the 1984 Miami vs Nebraska game and forgot about Archie's brother playing for Miami. How did he end up there instead of Ohio State?

takes a straight shooter to realize things like that dubs -- I admire it. MD It is truely sad he went out that way.
