I used to like UK alot, but I also have a deep respect for what Butler is doing.

I don't know who I'll cheer for now, but I think I'll just hope for some games that are at least half as good as last night.

How about Butler's tenacious OT win against Florida just now?? More than "half as good"???
My brackets are so busted I no longer have a favorite in this, but I found myself rooting hard for Butler - and I really liked that Florida team with Joakim Noah et al that won it all back-to-back a few years ago, but I was rooting against them in this game.

I hate it that the OHSAA Boys Tournament Championship Finals conflicts with the NCAA.
I started out watching the OHSAA DIII Championship game Cincinnati Taft vs Cleveland Central Catholic; but when Taft was up by 30 at halftime, I switched over to the NCAA game Butler vs Florida. Boy am I glad I did - what a great game that turned out to be!

I have to pull for UK to win it all now, but I wouldn't be all that disappointed to see Butler win.

Butler once again showed they are a major program, in a mid-major conference.

WOW!!!

VCU with the biggest upset in the tourney so far. They take down Kansas by 10 points and were up by 18 at one time in the 1st half. Unreal!!!

Unbelievble!!!

What are the chances that Shaka Khan has some job offers over the next few weeks?

I was saying that same thing to my wife as we watched the game today. I told her the only bad thing to come from VCU's success so far in the tourney is they will probably lose their coach to a more lucrative offer from a bigger school. We saw it happen with Thad Matta and Sean Miller from Xavier after their success as well as Calapari going from Memphis to UK. Wouldn't surprise me to see Butlers coach start getting some looks from major conference schools after his success the past two seasons.

I agree. Smart would have been the smarter pickup.
