Valley 8th 4 to 2 over Jackson 8th good scrimmage for both teams lot of good plays for both sides

The pirates looked impressive, fundamentally sound, They knew there assignments, minimal pentalties and no tournovers. Cole Darnell threw for 2 touchdowns to Tanner Bivins and Keaton Newsome. Taylor Doerr ran for a touchdown and Keaton Newsome had an interception and returned for a touchdown to get the scoring started. The O-Line blocked very good. The Defense got more aggressive as the game went on, They caused and recovered several fumbles. The coaching staff (Ruby,Skiver,Madden,Sutten and Horner) are doing a great job teaching these young pirates fundementals and it showed Good job Pirates!
