The 8th grade Fairfield Lady Lions won their 2nd straight SHAC all team Tournament Championship Sat. night at Peebles High School, with a 43-34 win over a undefeated West Union.

The winners used a strong defense, and a good rebounding game to capture the title.

The winners were paced in scoring by Bri Barnes with 14, and 12 by forward Kami Magee. West Union scoring was lead by Alexa Pennington with 11, and 10 from Mackenzie Bicket.

The Lions advanced to the finals with a quarter final 49-13 win over Fayetteville, and a 37-20 S-final win over Peebles.

Congrats to Fairfield played a good game in the championship

West Union Lady Dragons finished 17-1, 31-3 over the two seasons. Back to back Regular season champions, and also went undefeated in 8th Grade Volleyball. Just goes to show you how hard undefeated seasons are and why its rare.

Congrats to FF and once again congrats to the 8th Grade Lady Dragons on a nice run over the last two years.
