Peebles 8th Grade Boys vs. Fairfield (Tournament Finals)

Peebles finished by defeating Fairfield 48 to 35. The Indians finished undefeated during the regular season and won the tournament. This caps off their Jr. High careers going undefeated in both regular season and throughout the tournaments in each of the last two years. I cannot say enough about these young men and their committment to getting better and their dedication to each other.

Josh Chandler 10 pts, 3 reb, 1 asst, 1 stl
Tyler Gray 10 pts, 4 reb, 1 asst, 2 stl, 4 blk
Stone Crothers 6 pts, 6 reb, 1 asst
Cody Hemming 2 pts
Caleb Rayburn, Chad Walls, Ethan Cadwallader, Anthony Seaman and Brian Schmitz also contributed throughout the season and were very important to the success of this team.

Great job boys!! We are all proud of what you've accomplished over the last two years. This group is truly reflective of a total team effort. Best of luck to you during your high school career and now that you've had a few hours off, get out and start working for the future!!! LOL

Great job boys!!! Starting with the second half of last season, the varsity boys have brought heart and soul back to Peebles basketball. This group is going to pick this right up and continue on with the great traditions. They're going to be fun to watch!

CONGRATS TO ALL THE PLAYERS AND COACHES FOR ANOTHER GREAT SEASON! TO GO UNDEFEATED FOR THE PAST TWO YEARS OF LEAGUE AND TOURNAMENT PLAY IS AN ACCOMPLISHMENT IN ITSELF. BUT TO HAVE WON LIKE THE LAST 67 GAMES PLAYED! WOW! THIS BALL CLUB IS FULL OF TALENT, CONTINUE TO WORK HARD TO BECOME EVEN BETTER. BEST OF LUCK AT THE HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL. WE WANT A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP NEXT! GO INDIANS!!!!

Congratulations to the 8th grade boys. These young men have lots of promise. I hope for the sake of the Peebles Basketball Program they continue their success as they move up next year. They have played together for years and have been very successful. I look for a couple of boys to be pulled up to JV still leaving a very competitive Freshman team.
