Haven't heard any firm dates, but it is usually just after Valentine's day.

Still nobody with confirmed dates? I'm taking my kids to the Purdue vs Ohio State game in West Lafayette game on the 19th. So I was looking to see if there might be games played on the 18th that might interfere with when we can head that way. Thanks...

I heard the tournament was starting next weekend on the 12th. That is what our jr high coach said.

You mean that they will be playing next Saturday, the 12th? I am going to have to pull some serious strings to get there to watch. GO PANTHERS!

I see 3 teams who are capable of winning the tournament despite what has happened in the regular season.

Congratulations to the Wheelersburg 8th grade boy's basketball team on beating Portsmouth West 36 -32 in a very exciting game. Jacob Spradlin led the Pirates with 14 points, while Irwin scored 13 for the Senators. Wheelersburg finished with a 17 - 1 record.

This group of kids lost a total of 4 games in football and basketball in their 2 years of junior high!! Great job :!: :!:

Valley's 7th graders dominated Wheelersburg last night in the title game. I can't remember the final but I believe it was 59-23. Valley led 39-10 at the half and played everyone in the 2nd half. Valley finished 17 or 18-1. They have a very strong class led by Byran Rolfe. This kid is very tough and will be ready to contribute early in his high school career.
