Summer League Grades 7,8,9

We will once again have a summer league for Grades 7,8,9 at Marietta High school. 7th grade will be on Mondays and start June 8th. 8th grade will be on Wednesdays and start June 10th, 9th grade will be on Sundays and begin June 7th. We will take up to 10 teams in each division. So far we have: Warren, Marietta, Caldwell, Fort Frye, Waterford, Parkersburg Catholic, St. Marys. Wva., Buckeye Trail, in various divisions. The start dates are confirmed. 6th grade can play up in the 7th grade division and a few are doing just that. We have: Marietta, Warren, Fort Frye, St. Mary's Wva, Caldwell, Buckeye Trail, Parkersburg South, ( waiting on confirmation from Waterford and Parkersburg Catholic). We can handle a few more teams. We play regulation rules with a 3 minute halftime and 3 time outs per game. We will finish with a tournament and a corn roast and grill out for everyone. Here is what we have confirmed:

7th grade: Maysville, Caldwell, Warren, Parkersburg South, Marietta, St. Mary's, Fort Frye, Monroe Central, Morgan

8th Grade: Buckeye Trail, Warren, Parkersburg South, Marietta, St. Mary's, Belpre, Fort Frye, Morgan

Freshman: Buckeye Trail, Warren, Marietta, Parkersburg, Parkersburg South, Cambridge, St. Mary's

A few other possibilities floating out there. Let me know as I will be making schedules this weekend.

Brackets are set. 31 total teams participating. 12 for 7th grade, 10 for 8th grade and 8 for freshman.

Looks like it will be a great summer of hoops at the Sutton gym.
