Ironton 58
South Point 36

Scoring: Ironton: Tanner Wilson 18, Ethan Wilson 8, Ryan Bryant 9, Kyle Adkins 17, Aiden Barnes 3, Jayden King 3 Total 58
South Point: Joel Morrison 2, Roger Staggs 11, Dustin McCarty 4, Derick McCarty 6, McClure 4, Tayshaun Fox 9 Total 36

Great game by the fighting tigers. Back to back championship seasons with Coach Joe Young at the helm. He did a masterful job with this group. They will sure be fun to watch in the next couple of years. Not only was there a lot of scoring in the game, Ryan Bryant must have had 20+ rebounds as the Tigers dominated the boards. Congratulations Tigers!!!

Are there any 8th graders that looks like they could be starting Varsity next year as Freshmen?

Sounds like a lot of good players at Ironton, South Point, Fairland and Coal Grove.

Could be a few, all depends on how hard they work now. There will be a lot graduating this year, the talent is there, it all depends on how bad they want it. There's the Wilson boys that have the speed to keep up with the varsity game, Adkins is a shooter and Bryant has the height. All of these kids have played with older kids for years and don't sweat it when put up against older competition. Should be a good year for these kids, I believe they help the Tigers to a big season.

That's awesome, can't wait to watch this bunch at the Varsity level.
