Who's the top JR High Football teams going to be this year?

Ironton should be solid after a tough yr. line should be better and some skill players that didn't play last yr. feel a good yr before they move on to the high school squad.

Rock Hill had a very nice 6th grade team last yr that would have competed with most jr high teams last yr. they could very well contend for title along with ironton.

Coal grove always tough not sure about their turnout this yr. I hear their low on players.

Fairland be solid as well. South point and Peake Portsmouth all will have good athletes just not seen much if them on football. Their bball team just about beat us last yr on a bad game by us but several good athletes on Fairland.

What about West?

west and burg should both be very good

Ironton West CG Burg

I know we play CG this yr as we entered the ovc. Not sure of other teams. Does West and Burg play ?

I heard that the Holden boy for Burg may not play. Is there any truth to this, if so that could be a big blow to burgs offense.

South Point should be very solid this year. The team was mainly 7th graders last year.

He may have been. That is just one of the rumors I heard. Just wondering if there was any truth to it. That would be a big loss for their team.

Just saw West schedule for this year was surprised to see Ironton dropped West this year.

He looks good at wide receiver

I guess you can mark off Ironton off the list of teams to watch.

what happened to ironton?

We are still here. Key skilled player is out which caused other positions to change. However that's football we have to adjust and we looked a lot better last wk. looking forward to this wk.
