OVC Basketball rules!!

Can anybody tell me if it is against the rules for a kid to wear a headband while playing in a basketball game in the OVC, or can someone tell me where I can find the OVC by-laws.

If the coach says "No Headband" than yes it is a rule. My understanding is coaches set the rules for their teams.

EXCEPTION (2): Headbands no wider than 2 inches and made of non-abrasive unadorned single-colored cloth, elastic, fiber, soft leather or rubber may be worn. Rubber/cloth (elastic) bands may be used to control hair.
