Belpre golf team earns first victory

Coach Scott and the Belpre Golden Eagles Junior High Golf team went out and took their first victory of the season from their MOV rival Warren Warriors. In a pulse pounding first match of the year, Belpre stayed focused as it came down to the wire, but unfortunately lost to Van Devender by 2 strokes. A 1-1 start is more than can be expected from an upstart coach and his team. Let's hope for a long and prosperous coaching career from this man.
