They are outstanding. Stud guard, stud forward athlete, another great guard just solid as can be a very good defense and an older looking kid that is a very good athlete for his age.

They’ve got the whole package of main players. Bench didn’t seem strong but also I haven’t seen enough to say they aren’t.

Great future potential!

It would be nice to see Meigs and the other highly touted 8th grade teams play each other this year and the years coming. Hope the schedulers feel the same and get it done. Meigs boys are very talented and skilled and have good team chemistry. Elite competition will prepare them for a run in high school. No matter what may all southeast Ohioans root for each other and support each other.

Agree. Tried to get Waverly in that Logan tourney last year.

8th grade talent is loaded...maybe early but a transfer or two to one of the top teams could make a serious serious run come 3 or 4 years. Long way to go but I know in 6th grade Meigs and Jackson were two of the 3 best teams at the State tournament...both getting eliminated by team that won it all.

We’ll see how these kids continue to grow and mesh with other sports.
