While Supreme Court watchers ponder how justices will come down in the debate over gay marriage, ABC’s George Will said Sunday on ABC News “This Week” it’s clear where public opinion is headed.

“There is something like an emerging consensus,” Will said, noting voters in three states recently endorsed same-sex marriage initiatives. “Quite literally, the opposition to gay marriage is dying. It’s old people.”

Who cares? What is right is right. The fact of the matter is, a man cannot marry a man and a woman cannot marry a woman that is the way it is! Deal with it!

Wasn't this said about Blacks and slavery? Didn't we already fight a horrible war about it?
The Revolution already happened - INCLUSION WON - ALL PEOPLE have equal right to "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" like it says in the Declaration/Constitution - which, NOT THE BIBLE or any other religious writing - is the governing document of this country applicable to all people whatever gender or color - and what a struggle it took to get us there!
I'm old enough to remember the hateful Jim Crow segregationist era and the struggle to outlaw/eliminate those hateful exclusionary rules/laws and declare them unconstitutional.
It feels to me like I've heard all that same hate before - can't you haters find something to love?

Perhaps if I ask cable again she might answer me this time? What is wrong with gays given the option of the civil union which will give them all the rights of married people? Why will they not accept that or why are you all not willing to accept it?

No one is aking you to endorse it, to like it, or even to have those ceremonies performed in your place of worship. Just be TOLERANT when it becomes lawful! Truly, we need to move beyond this to other more pressing matters. Should've been accepted long ago.
