I didn't know till I read this article that carp not only have taste buds in their mouth but along their entire body but on it's barbules, pectoral and pelvic fins and underneath the head. Anyway, a pretty interesting article and a site dedicated to the carp fisherman. Heaven knows the carp fishing ain't crowded!

SERIOUSLY I USED TO LOVE TO CATCH CARP, THEY ARE HARDER TO CATCH THAN PEOPLE THINK, EASILY SPOOKED. AND NOT THAT EASY TO CATCH, AND THEY ARE BULLS TO REEL IN. BUT I'M MORE INTO GAMEFISH.
