i jus saw a buck with a nice rack, 6 pt. I thought that they had already shed?

Ive heard that once in a while you might see one that dont shed until mid-spring. I would say thats rare though.

Some wont shed at all.If they have lost their testicles in a fight or crossing a fence the will stay on for good. this is where some of your big non-typicals come from.

i think if i was the deer id rather go with the smaller rack...

i wonder if they loose their rack on a barbed wire fence if their testicles get bigger??
