We couldn't afford Dynamite. OR the wouldn't sell it to us.

But they would sell us carbide. Whisky bottle, put a little carbide in it, pee in it, cap it quick and throw it in the river. Row out and pickem up.

I live on a farm with a creek running through it so I fish the creek a lot so I have always loved rooster tails because the bass always bite on them all year long and in ponds or the river they always bite better on them in the spring then anything and they bite on them all through fishing season too! In the river I have caught alot of striper and sauger with them.

Ive fished the passed 4 days and have used everything I have in farm ponds and all that I can get bass to consistently bite on are rooster tails aka small spinner baits witch I use the blue fox one with a blue front piece and a white tail on it. them colors are my favorite and tend to be the favorite for bass too as I have seen in farm ponds and strip mine ponds this time of year

i was watching a fishing show the other day...good ole bill dance. he had a chart showing colors and how well they penetrate light under water on a clear day in clear water. it showed that the best colors in this order are red, orange, yellow, green.

well bill dance.....i prefer white, so suck on that.

If you can just convince Bill Dance of that he may be able to get rich.

Having confidence in whatever bait or color you use means a lot.
