just curious have a friend that lives there. caught a couple nice catfish sunday. we did.

what all's in lake white, i heard there were smallies, n musky.

Not a good lake to bass fish on, thats for sure.

Fished it alot about 4-5 years ago but haven't been since my dad passed away. There was a nice population of small channel cats back then. I don't remember anyone bragging on the smallies or musky but there are probably still a few if you're willing to work for them. The boat traffic is hard to handle or i would've went more often.

well, i got to bass fish for the first time this year here, with a buddy of mine i graduated with that lives here as well. the bite was definately not on, and i tryed everything. but i managed to get 2 bites , and landed me a 3.5 pound largemouth.so the hookup ratio was fantastic, the bite was well, we hadda great time. caught her on a chartruese buzzbait with a triple blade.

so i guess i would rate it so far, thank god for sharp hooks.

It depends on what time of the day you are fishing. As mentioned earlier, the boat traffic is pretty intense at times and makes it a little bit challenging.

I have had some pretty good luck fishing for Catfish though. I have always managed to land a pretty nice size ones fishing off the dock.

I know what you mean. It is always pretty fun to go at night and fight the carp.

I haven't been home for a while, but when I do visit, I am on Wells Jones Road.

Hows the Crappie fishing at Lake White?

i know there are some very big ones in here. my buddy catches them all the time. i've only got to go in a boat once, and a few times at my dock. just been busy movin in n all. but the back part where i live is supp. to be chalked full of em.

he caught a few 16 inchers a few weeks ago.

What the public access like on the lake? I have 2 little girls who love to fish for Crappie

except for the island , everything is owned by the property owners, living here, i've met several that let me fish at their places. everything is accessable by boat. my dock is not very big, i hope to build onto it at winter pool, but you all are welcome to fish there anytime, anybody can fish at the landing area. where they launch boats.

fished some off the dock tonight. fish jumpin and swirling all around me, caught 1 lil bass about 8 inches long. i was fishin for carp and had one jump out of the water n land on my bobber. saw hundreds of shad threw plugs right in there nothin. caught some nice bluegill on crawlers though. caught the lil bass on a white roadrunner. tryin to downsize n get something going.

Sounds like you should try some Live Minnows

i do use them some, i was juss piddlin.

Whats your biggest Fish from the Lake?

i've only fished it 3 times maybe 4. i've just been here bout 3 weeks. but it was a 3.5 pound bass on a chartruese buzzbait. i've been too busy unpacking and working on the house. then it was like 100 for bout 10 days.
