Minford @ Oak Hill Feb 13th

Just happened to talk to coach copley. He would like to cordially invite marshallman, live4sport, and bushmaster to his practice Saturday at 10:30am at the high school gym. He is serious. No hard feelings. He wants them to come in and talk X's and O's. To get their perspective on the teams improvements and what their solution is to improve them. Evaluating the teams performance could help him finish his 12th year on a positive note.

would love to come, but i"ll be going to support minford peewee basketball . unlike some he is leaving anyway . hey take the jv coach with you the jv should have won alot more games also.. again it goes back to subs ccc keep on stroking him..... ccc go talk to some old timers in minford at the games they are always saying what the hell is he doing and just shake thier heads... they eat real early in minford on sat mornings.. ohh i forgot coach only comes to minford for prac,or games

WOW, I thought only this kind of thing went on at Green. Sounds like Minford is trying to run their coach off also. Geez, Copley is what 11-6 in a very competitive SOC 2 division as well . Get a life people. Don't worry coach. No one will show to talk X's and O's with you. I doubt they know what they mean

Its sad when you stop to think the players have to read these things. That really puts them in the right frame of mind. When people start bashing the coach it definitely effects the team as well. It only shows that the bashers only cares about what they want and themselves. Not the program

That is a pretty cool gesture by the coach. I guess he should have invited the "OLD TIMERS" to the practice too. I'd like to see the old timers run the practice. I think this whole county has been quick to pull the trigger on coaches lately. Valley has made changes, Green and others, and although I like who Valley has now, I haven't agreed with the changes without a fair shake. Minford has had their hands full in this conference this year, but they are good. It's just the whole conference is good. Even Oak Hill has had their hands full and I think they were clearly the best in the SOC. But for a coach to reach out to some guys on here and then get a response like yours', that doesn't say much for the support of the Minford faithful. These old timers you talk about must not be from Minford, I don't remember Minford having that good of a Basketball team for quite some time. Actually since Smith's dad was there.

nobody , is running him off he is leaving after this year on his own.. as far as the program thats why we care about the peewee up to the varsity. you my friend "operater" have no clue what you are talking about... if it were up to me all varsity coaches would be invovled in the peewee and jr .. programs...like most winning programs do..our baseball coach is our football staff is and you can tell with the numbers .. as far as the kids reading this i believe they are mature enough to understand...you are talking about young adults...

Bushmaster,You are wrong about one thing. I do know what I'm talking about,but you are right about varsity coaches having total control of ALL basketball teams meaning PEEWEE,but that sometimes is a very difficult thing to do when it comes to PEEWEE ball. The coaches won't listen or a lot won't because they have one thing in mind which is to coach their own kid and win a lot of games which is not what PEEWEE ball is about.

WOW...Oak Hill is really starting to hit stride. If they keep playing like this, Norm will be getting his first Regional title (Worthington Chrisitian is not as strong this year).

As for Minford fans complaining about their coach, what else is new? Doesn't matter the sport, it's usually the coach's fault out there.*
