Way to go Warriors on the victory heard A.C. and Ward came up big in the end.

Good win for the warriors. Ronald were up 14 in the 3rd and they battled back and never quit. They have a good ball squad. I felt the Trojans didn't use their bench enough in the 4th. In fact there was no subs by PHS until Dion fouled out with 2:12 left. Maybe fresher legs or better ballhanders would've helped maintain the lead. Tough loss for the Trojans. Gotta regroup and focus and come back ready for Jackson at their place Tuesday.
Good luck Warriors and can't wait to watch the rematch.

Go Trojans!!

untill we learn to play defense, we will not beat a good team.

we had this team on the ropes and let them climb back in and steal it away from us, not taking anything away from Waren they have a great team, and are 5 and 0 to prove it, our kids have to play hard all 4 qtrs to win these typ of games.

I would have liked to seen Whitley play more in the 4th when we was struggling, just to see how he handled the pressure, we will need him down the road, may as wel see whet he brings.

congrats to Warren on the hard fought win, and hope everyone has a safe trip home.

next up for Portsmouth Jakson tuesday..triple header.

Poor Basketball IQ +poor defense + not enough Zade Whitley = another fourth quarter meltdown loss...overall bad loss for the Trojans...need to regroup ...lot of ball left to play

Crongats to The Warrior Nation on a big road win.

Hope "some" of the Warren posters can find the positives in games like this and quit SCREAMING all the negative comments about players and coaches.

These type comments makes your school the laughingstock of a lot of readers. (like it or not)

Portsmouth beat themselves tonight. Not to take any credit away from a good Warren team, but missed free throws and no deffense is what beat Portsmouth. No way you should give up a 16 point lead. Cunningham couldn't be stopped in the 4th. Zaide should have played more tonight. He was playing great D, he should have came in to guard Cunningham in the 4th when he was hot. Portsmouth needs to improve at the free throw line. Next stop @ Jackson then home to play Burg, who's always scrapy. Congrats Warren.

This Trojan team should never blow big leads with as much talent as they have. 30 points in one quarter is not good. They must start playing better defense or they will struggle to win ball games. This team has the talent to have a great year. But then again, the Trojans have had GREAT talent for the past 4 years but can't ever get it together. I want to see this years squad turn it around and make something happen with this talent. Make it happen! It starts with defense and a "killer instinct" to finish teams off.

Trojan7 and Tobias good recap of a very hard fought game by boyh teams. This was what I thought it would be, physical,Dog eat Dog defense the whole game. Just a great high school basketball game. Can't wait for the rematch later. Good luck to you

Late in the 3rd quarter down by 16, and a good timeout by Coach Maddox, I said to myself boy its GUT CHECK time now. You could almost hear Coach Maddox across the gym with his in your face talk to the team. When the Warriors came back on the floor I knew THE GAME WAS ON. Just great desire and the we are not going to lose this game look. What a come from behind win for the Warriors agianst a darn good Portsmouth team. The 3 ball and foul shooting was not kind to the Warriors for most of the game, but in the CLUTCH AC, WARD and HASTIE found the range from the arc and the foul line to pull this one out. Windland, good job being strong and finishing in the 4th. Henthorn as always great defense. And the bench. Overall big win for TEAM Warren and the Coaching Staff. Anybody that says this team does not have desire or chemistry is out of their MIND!!!!! They will find a way or go down trying. This was a real true test. GO TEAM WARREN WARRIORS!!!!!!!!!!!!

WELL WELL! Congrats to the warriors! Sounds like I missed a good one according to my source and the score.
Heard the warriors were down big and came from behind without one of their Big dogs Venham? Also heard that Cunningham stepped into another gear and helped huge..
The biggest thing my source was impressed with was the fact how the Warriors played together as a TEAM!! SO Warrior C C Award goes to the entire Warrior Team.
Keep in mind BLUE that this was a BIG WIN but Portsmouth was still not at full strength and Chili will be your season....so Enjoy this one and hope the TEAM CONCEPT KEEPS GOING!
Glad the Team and Fans had a SAFE trip and look forward to seeing them again soon...Patches and I had a good evening and were rooting the BOYS on. Anyone know a good Vet in the Vincent or Belpre area?
The Sun comes out tmrw! :122245

Warrior C C your correct, Venham fouled out early in the fourth. Portsmouths Dion Mckinley also fouled out with about 4 minutes left in the fourth. Both teams played hard and gave the fans their moneys worth. It's on to Jackson for the Troajans on Tuesday night lets go out and redeem our selves boys.

CC, Well I guess I'll play your silly little game. I'm glad to hear Patches and you had a great evening. On the Vet note, Dr. Alloway on ST RT 339 towards Belpre is excellent. You may want to get old Patches there and get the correct shots, cause sometimes little puppies get sick.

Thank You WarriorBS...I guess I am required to get my puppy some different shots per my granddaughter but I will try and let them tell me what he needs...Is this Alloways place a respectable place? Wasnt quite ready for this gift and didnt know it was so demanding...Not sure how to break it from chewing up everything. My slippers were the latest item, but I will survive. :12224 The sun comes out tmrw!
