I agree with Tobias as it was great to see fresh legs on the court in the 4th. Coaches did a great job subbing players throughout. Zaide Whitley got more minutes and really helped with the ball handling as Wayne Evans had a shadow all night long. Sometimes two shadows haha. Really good to see LJ Adams come off the bench late and knock down two straight threes. Lastly I was pleased with the Trojans team ball and ability to keep cool heads. Especially Wayne, he had a guy right behind him everywhere. Surprised he didn't follow him into the locker room lol. He got banged around tonight pretty good especially after a few layups but didn't get mad or say anything just got up and went to the free throw line. That showed to me that this team is maturing and coach Collins is getting this program in the right direction. Very businesslike attitude. Hopefully we keep that going Thursday against the burg.
For Jackson you have some good shooters especially #3. If he is given any room from behind the arc it's a 3. Good luck with the rest of your season. And safe travels when you venture down to PHS later in the year.

Re: Portsmouth @ Jackson 12/21/2010...
The Trojans put a solid second half together to pull away from the Ironmen........and I'm glad Ironmen92 mentioned that Portsmouth played as a team........I think the most important thing that came out of last night's game was that Zaide Whitely got a lot of good minutes and made the most of his time, scoring 9 points........ZW will be an impact player this year and I'm excited about his upside.......I also thought Mason Jordan gave some solid minutes off the bench, and it was good to see L.J.Adams come in and stroke two 3's.
Dion McKinley continues to lead the Trojans with a 19 PPG average, with double digit rebounds as well........Wayne Evans has been steady with about 16 PPG, while Tre Underwood plays his usual solid game on the glass in addition to scoring right around 10 PPG.
So far this season Portsmouth has played only 2 bad quarters in 4 games......those 2 quarters, both in the 4th vs. Warren and South Webster, cost the Trojans a 4-0 start........still, overall, Portsmouth has played some good basketball with their best yet to come.
GO TROJANS!!!
