If you want to beat Howie you need to first beat his players, meaning you better out hustle them and you better be fundmanetally sound throughout the whole ball game because all Howie coached teams have both of those attributes. Control the tempo, take care of the ball and finish around the basket....sounds like alot....but it's what it takes to beat good ball clubs.

I agree that is why he is one of the BEST coaches in the State, ask other coaches.

Congrats to Eastern on the win.

Hardfowl-was good to have you there doing the game for radio.

Rebels-you can learn something from every game, now get ready for Federal Hocking on Friday.

mtswngrvsg,

I had a great time tonight in MercerVegas. Great concession stand. I especially enjoyed the hot dog with sauce smothered in nacho cheese. Very nice school and gym. Whoops, I may have said too much. As I've been told, what happens in MercerVegas, stays in MercerVegas!

Both teams showed great effort last night....Eastern got some easy looks in transition and were executing their high flex screens up at the foul line really well, getting people freed up inside the paint....I would have liked to seen the Rebels talking more on D to help polish up a really nice zone defense they were playing. The Rebels are close to turning the corner, they'll be ready come Friday.

I agree. Easterns flex is hard to stop. Congrats to Eastern. Good luck SG.
