Re: All-Ohio Honors Div. I-II
Congrats to all the young men from Southeast Ohio (and beyond) that received this special recognition. They are all great kids and excellent performers.
I would like to send out my special congrats to Jalen Ragland and his family (both blood and Cavalier nation) for an outstanding honor. To be listed as 1st team all Ohio is a great honor for a young man that has worked extremely hard for everything he has gotten. As typical, Jalen would rather differ his attention to the team, but we were told mid-year, that he was recognized throughout the State by various coaches and media. He truly did not disappoint, as he also moved into the second place in Chillicothe History in terms of points scored in a season (2nd behind Anthony Hitchens 2007-08 season). To pass by great players like Gary Hall, Mark Bayless, Garin Veris and Gordon Mickey is truly an honor. He undoubtedly will also climb the record list on various other categories. However, to say that he played on two District Championship teams (along with some great teammates) is what he will remember.
GO CAVS!!!
