I agree. Lands is a Junior though. Then again, I do not expect to see Watkins at Eastern this upcoming season.
Greendough...Where are you getting your info about Watkins? Is he still at Eastern (I see your post about this on a Piketon thread?

Anyone else know how open gyms are going?

I heard a couple teachers were talking about it with their students. I am not for sure if he is still at Eastern. I heard he was already at Piketon from some people...I know some Eastern parents that said they heard Watkins had a lot going on. His buisness. I respect the kid.

He said he wasn't sure what he was doing yet. Who ever he's playing for he will help.

I heard this also. I do believe that he will be playing in the SVC next year for Coach L. There is going to be some hectic basketball coming this Holiday Classic. Can't wait!

First half of the schedule looks pretty tough for the Eagles. Valley could put a beating on the Eagles again this year, and with Mcbee at Minford now that's a little tougher win than in the last few years

I'm going to say the Eagles go 15-5 and win anouther sectional title this year if they can dodge Webster and Manchester they might get a little further lack of a dominant big will hurt them come tourney time I'm afraid.

I hope you are right, 15 wins would be a very successful year for the Eagles. I know the will need to dodge Southern in the sectional as well. Maybe they can get a good draw and get back to the Convo again this year

Put it this way. He is currently enrolled in Piketon and working out with the team.

Well i've never understood the way players can transfer in the middle of a school year. The trend continues...

He was able to transfer due to a custody change, that is the only reason.

Eagles will likely miss his athleticism and rebounding. This will make the Holiday classic even more interesting!

Before we judge the young man.... Remember everything is not about athletics....

Agree Bengalfan. Nobody should be judging anyone and I hope the Eagles and Redstreaks both allow this young man to play and succeed!

Anyone have any idea what the Eagles scrimmage schedule is?

thanks
