This was the first PVC title in school history? I obviously knew things had been bad since the consolidation, but didn't realize they had never even won the PVC. I was aware of how little success the Seminoles of had in the tournament since then with only advancing out of the sectional maybe 2 times? Still a sad state of affairs for a program that generally has as much (or more) athletic ability year in and year out than most other programs in that conference. It is perhaps no coincendence that this happens the year after Monroe Central gets a new staff. It is a shame it took this long.EasternDspy wrote:Congrats to Monroe on 1st ever PVC title.

Me thinks....That fall sport gets in the way with all those athelets working in the weight room, and doing football (not roundball) skills.

Skyvue,, Sounds like you have not gotten over the consolidation LOL. MC has fielded some nice teams. I believe the former Skyvue coach was at MC before Coach Taylor and Coach Tolzda. Congrats on the co -PVC championship! Also Coach Taylor took them to their only sectional title. Hopefully a sectional title can be had this year as well. MC also has some good young players that can hopefully continue with the advancement of the program.
